About Course

This course is an introductory business math course and aims to increase knowledge and skills that prepare students to solve practical financial and math problems regularly encountered in the business arena. The course also provides the basic knowledge necessary for higher level courses in accounting, finance and other business subjects that rely on business math solutions. Topics will cover simple and compound interest, annuities, rations, markdowns and markups, break even analysis, amortization of loans, sinking funds and bond valuation. Students will also practice investment decision applications.
